I am always glad to hear from people whose interests overlap with mine. Whichever route fits you, please email me a short note about your interests and a rough project idea before applying.

PhD students (own funding)

Bring your own scholarship or fellowship and get in touch with a short project idea that connects to my research. I can advise on funding routes and the formal steps for starting a doctorate at Konstanz.

Postdocs applying for fellowships

I am happy to host and co-develop applications for postdoctoral fellowships in computational social science. Get in touch well ahead of the deadline so we can shape the proposal together.

Final-year PhDs & early postdocs from Africa, Asia, or Latin America

The ZUKOnnect Fellowship supports a research stay at Konstanz while you keep your position at home, with a digital affiliation extending the collaboration across the year.

Short-term visiting researchers (external / mobility funding)

Already funded by DAAD, your home institution, or a foundation? The Zukunftskolleg hosts visiting fellows and shorter research visits — a good way to spend a few weeks or months collaborating here.

Bachelor's & Master's students

I supervise theses for students enrolled at Konstanz. Funded assistant (Hiwi) positions are advertised separately when available.
